Ordering Days

Please ensure your order is completed by Saturday 10pm for Tuesday pickup/delivery. Meals ready to be pick up/delivery between 10:00am – 4:30/5.00pm, every Tuesday.

Payment

The check out page will give you the option to pay by credit cart, alternatively if you are picking up the meals from the Eat Real Shop you can pay at the time of pickup.

Pick up Address

Location 1: Bush Pilot Avenue. The General Aviation, Aeroglen, Cairns (Under Cobham building). Orders to be picked up by 5pm.

Location 2: 600 Bruce Highway. Cafe inside the Calanna Wholehealth Pharmacy Woree (Cnr of Toogood Road & Bruce Highway) Orders to be picked up by 4.30pm if late please arrange.

NDIS meals

At Eat Real Cairns, we are equally passionate about supporting and servicing people with a disability. Elsa owner of Eat Real knows how important and vital that they all have access and service to receiving wholesome and healthy meals. Having over 20 years of experience within the Disability sector, working as a support worker, she knows the struggles of people accessing nutritious meals that not only would be good for them but also for their budget. Eat Real caters for a variety of dietary needs while tasting like home cooked meals. All meals are cooked from scratch and made fresh to order.

We have developed a solution that automates the administrative complexities for both Plan Managers and NDIS recipients. This includes only charging 30% of the meal upfront, whilst invoicing the Plan Manager the remaining amount. We also make it easy for the recipient to sign up and place their orders.

How it works

You can sign up by getting your Plan Manager to get in touch with us.
Once your quote has been approved, you are free to place your orders whilst only paying 30% of cost of the meal. We then invoice your Plan Manager directly.
Orders can be placed either from:
- Our weekly menu email;
- Clicking on this link;
- If you prefer, you are free to call us to place your order manually.
We offer two convenient options for receiving your order. You can have it delivered to your doorstep every Wednesday between 9am and 5pm. Alternatively, you are welcome to visit our store and pick up your order every Wednesday from 10am to 6pm.

FAQ

Can I access meals on my NDIS package?
You need to liaise with your Plan Manager to determine whether you are able to access meals on yourNDIS package.

How does the 30% payment work?
Eligible NDIS recipients only need to pay 30% of the cost of the meals, with the remaining 70% and any delivery costs funded via their NDIS package. We invoice your Plan Managed for this additional amount.

How do I sign up to receive meals on my NDIS?
